Per la sua capacità di saper descrivere con un maturo e profondo sguardo autoriale la condizione di un “uomo senza qualità” lasciando spazio all’identificazione per lo spettatore e coinvolgendolo in una riflessione sulla condizione umana. Un lavoro che ci colpisce per la sua capacità di saper essere ambizioso, consapevole di fare riferimento a un terreno culturale e cinematografico nazionale ma con uno sguardo che si rivolge a un orizzonte internazionale.
For its ability to describe with a mature and deep authorial gaze the condition of a “man without quality”, leaving room for audience’s identification by involving in a reflection about the human condition. A work that impresses us for its ability to be ambitious, aware of referring to a cultural and cinematographic national background but with an eye to an international horizon.

Per la compostezza e il lavoro di sottrazione nella rappresentazione di un evento tragico che riguarda il mondo della fabbrica. Come un moderno “uscita dalle officine Luméres” un racconto che attraverso l’utilizzo di quadri fissi restituisce con forza il senso di una tragedia contemporanea che lega i temi dell’immigrazione a quelli della condizione subalterna dei lavoratori.
For the composure and the work of subtraction in the representation of a tragic event that concerns the world of the factory. Like a modern “exit from Luméres workshops” a story that through the use of fixed pictures returns with strength the sense of a contemporary tragedy that links the themes of immigration to those of the subordinate condition of workers.
