FERMO IMMAGINA

Cosa succederebbe se per alcuni minuti ognuno di noi si fermasse e immaginasse una storia? Riprenderemmo le fila dei nostri destini incrociati. Ci renderemmo conto del potenziale creativo che siamo noi stessi a produrre. Il cinema in questo ci dà una mano. Ma il cinema quello vissuto in sala. Sì, perché forse ci stiamo stancando della fretta con cui consumiamo un film, una serie, un programma con comici che non devono ridere. Abbiamo bisogno di tempo. E il tempo è immaginazione per sua natura. È una grande immaginazione collettiva che ci fa sentire in ritardo, indaffarati. Ci fa lasciare puntate a metà, abbandonare stagioni, abdicare al nostro sguardo creativo. E qui è venuta a noi di SorsiCorti l’intuizione: da fermo immagine a Fermo Immagina. Passare dall’apparente dinamismo del metaverso al reale movimento che si fa stando fermi e immaginando. A forza di parlare di intelligenza artificiale ci siamo dimenticati della nostra intelligenza, quella umana. Quella che qualche anno fa in modo straordinario Goleman auspicava come intelligenza emotiva. Ecco. Ci sono delle pratiche umane che dovremmo riprendere a frequentare. Immaginare e renderci capaci e intelligenti, ma a patto di ascoltare la nostra ed altrui emozione. Non artificialità. Ma Fermo Immagina.

What would happen if for a few minutes each of us stopped and imagined a story? We would pick up the threads of our crossed destinies. We would realise the creative potential that we ourselves produce. Cinema lends us a hand in this. But cinema as experienced in the theatre. Yes, because perhaps we are getting tired of the haste with which we consume a film, a series, a programme with comedians who are not supposed to laugh. We need time. And time is imagination by its very nature. It is a great collective imagination that makes us feel late, busy. It makes us leave episodes half-finished, abandon seasons, abdicate our creative gaze. And this is where we at SorsiCorti came up with the intuition: from Freeze Frame to Stop Imagine. To move from the apparent dynamism of the metaverse to the real movement of standing still and imagining. By dint of talking about artificial intelligence, we have forgotten about our own intelligence, the human one. The one that a few years ago Goleman extraordinarily advocated as emotional intelligence. Here. There are human practices that we should resume. Imagining and making ourselves capable and intelligent, but on the condition that we listen to our own and others’ emotion. Not artificiality. But Stop Imagine.
