Nasce in Sicilia. Vive a Palermo. Viaggia spesso. Studia alla scuola del teatro Biondo, stabile di Palermo e alla scuola di teatro Teatés diretta da Michele Perriera (gruppo letterario ‘63). Lavora per molti anni (circa quindici) con la compagnia SudCostaOccidentale diretta da Emma Dante, compagnia con cui porta in scena vari spettacoli tra cui ‘Le sorelle Macaluso’, spettacolo vincitore di due premi Ubu e in tournée per alcuni anni, in vari paesi europei ed extraeuropei. In questi anni, contemporaneamente al lavoro di compagnia, continua a studiare e formarsi con maestre e maestri della scena nazionale ed internazionale (Danio Manfredini, Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli, Claudio Tolcachir, La Veronal). Attualmente sta collaborando con la regista e dramaturg svizzera Eva Maria Bertschy per un progetto internazionale che vedrà la luce alla fine del 2025. Affianca al lavoro in teatro quello per il cinema e per la televisione, partecipando alle pellicole di Nanni Moretti, Marco Bellocchio, Pietro Marcello, Piero Messina, Ridley Scott e della stessa Emma Dante. Ha collaborato, lo scorso autunno, ad un progetto artistico a cura dei Masbedo e negli ultimi mesi si sta dedicando a proprie creazioni per le quali è sia regista che interprete. Il nuovo lavoro su Molly Bloom da Joyce, creato insieme alla collega musicista Serena Ganci, ha debuttato questa primavera allo spazio Franco a Palermo ed è stato prodotto dall’associazione Babel e da Sardegna Teatro. Con il Piccolo Teatro Patafisico debutterà a breve con la sua prima creazione per il teatro ragazzi.

Born in Sicily. She lives in Palermo. She travels often. She studied at the Biondo theatre school, stable in Palermo and at the Teatés theatre school directed by Michele Perriera (literary group ’63). She worked for many years (around fifteen) with the SudCostaOccidentale company directed by Emma Dante, a company with which he staged various shows including “Le sorelle Macaluso”, a show that won two Ubu awards and toured for several years, in various European and non-European countries. In recent years, at the same time as working with the company, she has continued to study and train with teachers and masters of the national and international scene (Danio Manfredini, Lisa Ferlazzo Natoli, Claudio Tolcachir, La Veronal). She is currently collaborating with Swiss director and dramaturg Eva Maria Bertschy on an international project that will see the light at the end of 2025. Alongside her work in theatre, she has also worked in film and television, participating in films by Nanni Moretti, Marco Bellocchio, Pietro Marcello, Piero Messina, Ridley Scott and Emma Dante herself. Last autumn, she collaborated on an artistic project by Masbedo and in recent months has been devoting himself to her own creations for which she is both director and performer. The new work on Molly Bloom from Joyce, created together with fellow musician Serena Ganci, debuted this spring at the Franco space in Palermo and was produced by the association Babel and Sardegna Teatro. With Piccolo Teatro Patafisico, she will soon debut with her first creation for children’s theatre.
