Quando Maëlle esce da scuola, Martha, sua madre, viene a prenderla e decidono di andare al mare. La loro lunga separazione non rende le cose facili. La bambina scopre gradualmente la verità su questa madre che fatica a comunicare. Intrappolata in un circolo vizioso di amore distruttivo, Martha lotta contro se stessa.

As Maëlle leaves school, Martha, her mother, come to pick her up and they decide to go to the sea. Their long separation doesn’t make things easy. The little girl gradually discovers the truth about this mother who struggles to communicate. Trapped in a pattern of destructive love, Martha fights against herself.

Leo Medard si è diplomato nel 2012 alla scuola Insas, con sede a Bruxelles.
Da allora ha lavorato come scenografo, regista e assistente alla regia per il cinema e la televisione in Belgio.
