Midyan decide di fuggire dalla sua casa devastata dalla guerra. Prepara la sua borsa con gli oggetti che gli ricordano i suoi cari e si imbarca in un viaggio verso l’ignoto. Ben presto muore di fame e ricorre a mangiare gli oggetti che ha messo in valigia. Gli effetti sono mostruosi, ma gli danno la forza di proseguire attraverso il deserto rovente. Alla fine, arriva mezzo morto sull’altra sponda del mare e mangia il più prezioso dei suoi oggetti: un ritratto di famiglia. Questo gli dà la forza di finire il suo viaggio.

Midyan decides to run away from his war-torn home. He packs his bag with objects that remind him of his loved ones and embarks on a journey into the unknown. Soon he is starving and resorts to eating the objects he has packed. The effects are monstrous yet they give him the strength to carry on through the scorching desert. Eventually, he arrives half-dead on the other shore of the sea and eats the most precious of his objects: a family portrait. This gives him the strength to finish his journey.
