Matteo Burani

Matteo Burani è un regista di contenuti di animazione nato a Bologna nel 1991. Autodidatta, la sua esperienza nell’ambito della stop motion inizia nel 2010 fondando Studio Croma, per il quale realizza come puppet maker e character designer diversi progetti. Sperimentando numerosi linguaggi animati esordisce come regista nel 2017 dirigendo videoclip, spot pubblicitari e cortometraggi. Per Studio Croma è oggi responsabile della supervisione del reparto puppets e cura la scrittura e la regia di tutti i progetti.

Matteo Burani is an animation director born in Bologna in 1991. A self-taught artist, he began his experience in stop-motion in 2010 by founding Studio Croma, where he works as a puppet maker and character designer on various projects. Experimenting with numerous animated languages, he made his debut as a film director in 2017 with music videos, commercials and shortfilms.He is currently responsible for overseeing the puppet department at Studio Croma and handles the writing and directing of all projects.
