A man gets a new hand to fulfill his needs, hoping it will serve him. But control doesn’t come easily—and as tensions rise, an unexpected shift sparks a quiet rebellion.

Mehdi Ahmadpanah

Mehdi Ahmadpanah è nato il 16 luglio 1984 a Teheran. Ha intrapreso il suo percorso accademico studiando ingegneria meccanica. Tuttavia, fin dall’inizio dei suoi studi, ha scoperto la sua passione per il cinema. Mentre frequentava la facoltà di ingegneria, ha partecipato a diversi cortometraggi e produzioni teatrali. Durante gli studi post-laurea, ha deciso di cambiare il corso della sua vita e ha proseguito la sua formazione nel campo della regia cinematografica presso l’Università d’Arte di Teheran. Ha prodotto il suo primo lungometraggio nel 2016, che è stato proiettato nello stesso anno al Festival del Cinema Fajr nella sezione «Arte ed Esperienza». Attualmente è attivamente impegnato nel mondo del teatro e del cinema a Teheran.

Mehdi Ahmadpanah was born on July 16, 1984, in Tehran. He embarked on his academic journey by studying mechanical engineering. However, right from the beginning of his academic pursuits, he found his passion for cinema. While studying at the engineering faculty, he engaged in several short films and theater productions. During his postgraduate studies, he decided to change the course of his life and continued his education in the field of film directing at the Tehran University of Art. He produced his first feature film in 2016, which was screened at the Fajr Film Festival in the same year in the Art and Experience section. Currently, he is actively involved in theater and cinema in Tehran.
