Erik Jasaň è un regista, sceneggiatore e produttore slovacco il cui lavoro esplora tematiche delicate che riguardano la società slovacca. Il suo cortometraggio d’esordio, The Professional Parent è qualificato per la 98^ Edizione degli OSCARS nella categoria LIVE ACTION SHORT FILM. E’ stato proiettato allo Short Film Corner del 78° Festival di Cannes e ha ricevuto una menzione d’onore al 44° Thomas Edison Film Festival, festival qualificante per gli Oscar®. Il film è stato selezionato anche da diversi festival qualificanti per gli Oscar®, tra cui il 50° Odense International Film Festival, il 23° Tirana International Film Festival, il 53° Huesca Film Festival, il 41° St Kilda Film Festival, il 20° HollyShorts Film Festival, il 17° Bali International Film Festival, il 24° Lebu International Film Festival e l’11° Alexandria Short Film Festival. Erik ha vinto con il suo progetto emergente THREE BURNED BODIES al Pitching Forum, che faceva parte della 21° edizione del FEST – New Directors/New Film Festival, tenutosi a Espinho, in Portogallo.

Erik Jasaň is a Slovak director, screenwriter, and producer whose work explores sensitive issues affecting Slovak society. His debut short, The Professional Parent is qualified for the 98th OSCARS in the LIVE ACTION SHORT FILM category. It was screened for the Short Film Corner at the 78th Festival de Cannes and received an Honorable Mention Award at the Oscar®-qualifying 44th Thomas Edison Film Festival. The film was also selected by several Oscar®-qualifying festivals including the 50th Odense International Film Festival, 23rd Tirana International Film Festival, 53rd Huesca Film Festival, 41st St Kilda Film Festival, 20th HollyShorts Film Festival, 17th Bali International Film Festival, 24th Lebu International Film Festival, and 11th Alexandria Short Film Festival. Erik won with his emerging project THREE BURNED BODIES at the Pitching Forum, which was part of the 21st edition of FEST – New Directors/New Film Festival, held in Espinho, Portugal.
